Outdoor Arms is currently experiencing record-high transfer volume. To ensure we can continue to receive shipments and provide timely appointments for all customers, the following temporary policies are in effect:
Standard Transfer Fees
Includes completion of ATF Form 4473, background check, and processing.
Applies to additional firearms purchased in the same order and transferred in the same transaction.
Note: Firearms must arrive together or within a reasonable timeframe. We cannot store items long-term to combine transfers. .
Multiple Separate Orders: If you are picking up multiple separate shipments during a single appointment, a discounted fee of $15 (plus $5 for each additional item) applies to each subsequent order.
Includes creation and submission of Form 4 (E-Form), CLEO notification, secure storage of the NFA item until approval, and final transfer paperwork.
Note: Buyer must provide fingerprints and passport photos (blank fingerprint cards available upon request).
We do not process machine gun transfers. Only silencers, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), and short-barreled shotguns (SBS) are accepted.
Due to extremely limited vault space, we cannot provide long-term storage.

Effective Nov 1, Private Sale Background Checks are No Longer Available / Required. Virginia law currently does not require, and VSP will not provide, criminal history background checks for the private sale of firearms.
