In the meantime, we accept and transfer these items normally. One uncertainty: the grandfather date (July 1, 2026) hasn’t changed, so a firearm bought now may not be grandfathered if the ban is ultimately upheld — though we expect the injunction to hold. We ask that you fill it out before your firearm ships so we can confirm it’s legal to transfer in Virginia, log it into our records, and notify you the moment it arrives. It isn’t a hard requirement, but it makes pickup a lot smoother. One thing that is firm: we accept incoming shipments from licensed FFLs only — not from private individuals.

With the statewide court injunction in effect (since July 21, 2026), we are accepting shipment and transfer of these items. Two things to know: the injunction is preliminary — if it changes while your item is in transit or awaiting pickup, we may be unable to release it — and items acquired now may not be grandfathered if the ban is later upheld.
